Underrated Fantasy Games

This has to be one of my most favorite threads I've ever created:

Name An Underrated Fantasy RPG.

I'll admit there's several games I hadn't heard of (Legendary Lives, for one), and some I'd sort of forgotten about (Zenobia, Dungeon Squad).

I think sometimes we forget about the sheer number of alternative fantasy RPGs out there. Then again, I think we purposefully block some of them out for our own welfare.

Your original write-up of Zenobia was glowing, if I remember. It was enough that I check out the site and grabbed everything I could.

It was, indeed! It's a fantastic game, and I'm somewhat at a loss as to why I just sort of forgot about it for a while. Gamer ADD, I guess...

I like Dungeon Squad (was in a one-shot at Gencon), but I don't know how it would hold up to long-term play.

I enjoy playing ELFSRPG & the ORCS expansion located at http://www.ELFSRPG.com . Totally free, without ads and with a few free resources on the website that isn't quite "pretty" yet, it rocks. Very simple basic system that pushes "role"-playing and not "rule"-playing.
