Vintage Dragon Magazine Game Advertisements, Part III
Going through these old Dragon Magazines advertisements has been so much fun, I figured I'd continue, with Dragon #22, from February of 1979. In this article, Gary Gygax pens "Dungeons & Dragons: What It Is And Where It Is Going" [worth an article in and of itself] and also trashes some fledgling magazines):
I been searching for years for a humorous ad I saw once in a compiled hardcover of all the old single and double digit issues. No clue which one it was but the ad was for an art contest and it was a buxom cartoon Dragon sitting in a pose and a male in a beret 'painting' her, yet the art on the canvas was an overexagerrated stick figure instead. I was reminded of that ad by this blog. Can't for the life of me find it tho. :P

You reminded me of those great Villians and Vigilantes ads, which included a short character sheet as part of the ad. Who does that anymore?
No one, and its a shame! :)
You can keep this up forever, as far as I'm concerned.
