Our RPG Holiday Lists...

Its Thanksgiving week--a time when my family traditionally starts ramping up for Christmas. Anyone else have their RPG Christmas list done? Here's mine (in no particular order):

1) Castle Zagyg: Upper Works

2) A subscription to Crusader Magazine.

3) A subscription to Knights of the Dinner Table.

4) A print copy of Labyrinth Lord.

5) A RPGNow Gift Certificate.

6) Palladium's Dead Reign (which I hear is pretty good).

7) John Wick's Houses of the Blooded.

With the economy the way it is for us right now, I'm not sure what I'll get off there, but I'd be super-happy with any of it (but I must have Castle Zagyg--take note, Santa).

In addition, I would also like:

-Palladium to offer pdf versions of the old 1st Edition Palladium Fantasy books (which is still one of the best fantasy RPGs I've played).

-WotC to decide to license out the Greyhawk setting to Erik Mona and a dedicated cadre of fans.

-And this holiday season, I would like along with Peace on Earth and Goodwill Towards Men, for SenZar to find love, acceptance, and happiness in abundance.

Hmm, for those last ones, I may want a genie instead of Santa...

Are you asking for anything gaming-related in particular this year? Let's see those lists!

I have a subscription to Knights of the Dinner Table and await it eagerly each month. A very good investment and one of the best gaming mags/comics out there.

If you even remotely like the Palladium system (Palladium Fantasy does rock BTW) you will love Dead Reign. I pre-ordered and had hoped to use it for my Halloween game, but it didn't get released in time. Still I have enjoyed just reading it. Probably one of the most interesting, well organized game books Palladium has done. Definitely in my top 3 for the year.
I could go for a RPGNow gift certificate as well... Think I'll ad that to my list.
I haven't played C&C so I don't really know if I really want to get another fantasy system. I like D&D (3e & 4e), I like Palladium Fantasy, L5R, and I have Warriors & Warlocks pre-ordered... 4 main fantasy systems is enough for me.
If I can't come up with a fantasy campaign using any/all of theses systems I need to quit. Though I do have to admit I have heard a lot of good things about C&C and would like it... but I will control myself and stick to buying supplements for what I have.

The Palladium pdf idea is a good one. They are missing a lot of sales opportunities there. As long as they don't go the way of WotC and offer the pdfs at almost full price.
I still wish they would offer a Palladium system Pocket guide. A freelancer told me, on the Palladium boards, that they were working on a Palladium lite rules set for newer players/quick reference so that is at least something.

I've also heard the "Palladium Pocket" rumor, and hope its true. I also hope its offered as pdf.

We'll see. Thanks for the recommendation on Dead Reign! I'm excited to see it!

Lot of good buzz about Dead Reign, it seems. Haven't heard much negative, which is weird for a Palladium product.

IPR has the Houses of the Blooded pdf on sale for $5 which is too cheap to pass up.
