Definitely one of the older D&D editions is your number 1, based purely on the readership of the blog and the general group of people that make up the RPGBloggers.
I would even guess that another older edition made it in either the number 2 or 3 slot.
@kelvingreen - Ironic that it's "sanity" that must prevail for Call of Cthulhu to make it into number one, no?
Anyway, I'm thinking one edition of D&D (at least), one rules-lite system, maybe Risus (because I'm such a huge fan of them) and... I guess I'm going to go with one based off of a pre-established property.

I'll stick my neck out.
Top 3: D&D, CoC, and one of either White Wolf's "Vampire" or "Traveller" (depending on whether 80s or 90s vintage gamers dominated the voting).
Dark horses: Everway or Nobilis (for pseud factor).
Shock omission: WEG's Star Wars d6 and WFRP.
Probably D&D 2nd ed, CoC 6th, and Traveller.
AD&D 2e? Gutsy prediction. Could the red-headed stepchild of D&D discussion make good?

Aw, don't make us wait....
My guesses:
1) either basic D&D or 1st edition
2) CoC
3) Marvel Super Heroes ('cuz everyone who's anyone seemed to have played it back in the 80's).
I would hope that d6 Star Wars and WFRP made it in, as I rated both very highly!
I'd imagine D&D, probably 1e, made it in at number one, but I'm hoping that sanity prevails, and it's Call of Cthulhu. ;)
My "shock" prediction is that Palladium Fantasy made it into the list, possibly the top ten.

I will guess that Classic Traveller and FASA Star Trek definitely made it in, and possibly D6 Star Wars. Maybe GURPS 3e.
Obviously some edition, probably pre 3.x of D&D. I'm going to predict Savage Worlds makes it into the top along with CoC.
Alma Mater and The Veggie Patch better be in that list or I'm never reading this blog again!
I have a hunch Savage Worlds is involved somehow...
Good calls, guys!
