After my previous template went belly-up, I decided it was a pretty good indicator that it was time to switch templates and change up the site a bit. As you can see, I went to a 3-column layout, which I think makes the site a little easier to use and navigate. I was to the point where I just had too much material for a 2-column layout. I think this look will be a bit less cluttered and "long" overall.
In any case, I like the readability of this design; perhaps a bit bland compared to my previous effort, but I can work with that. I'll probably have a few additions here and there, but I believe this is the basic look of the site for now. Enjoy, and, as always, feedback is quite welcome.

Ooo, really nice! This makes me want to tool around with my own layout.
This looks very nice. You got enough room to put a couch in the corner with a mini fridge.
Hey, that's a really nice looking theme!
Very very nice indeed. It would be better if you center the images on the side bar though...
Well, it loads much better than the old one which started with a dark green unreadable background until the rest of the template finished loading, so well done.
Loads fine from my mobile phone.
[lately I've been unable to post to blogger.com blogs as my blogger.com identity. I click "publish comment" and nothing happens. Anyone got ideas?]
I like the new banner, then again I liked the old banner. But, change is good.
Too white though. Needs to be black with a couple, nah 30 or 40 rotating flaming skulls. And I looked all over but I could not find one blink or marquee anywhere. What's up with that?*
Glad to see you didn't loose any data. Esp that erudite and poetic post about Vancian Magic ;)
*Unless you're old aka actually used the Netscape browser, this will probably be weird and unfunny. Even if you're old it might still be unfunny. After all, age is no guarantee of taste.
Lovely, Zach. Three columns is definitely the way forward when you have a lot of content and things to link to.
I like the new layout! Very clean.
