That's right. Gen Con Indy is this week.
3 days of work, then Gamer Paradise.
To get you attendees excited, passing by the Indianapolis Convention Center, it looks like the Gen Con banners have gone up. Banners are out saying "Welcome Gamers!" are out in force! Lots of boxes being carried inside! Preparations are in full swing!
I've already got this flippy, electric, excited feeling in my stomach. Oh, is this going to be a great week...
EDIT: And if you still can't make it this week, aside from tuning in to the coverage here and at theRPGsite, make sure to check out walkerp and Ryan's RPG Haven Podcast on just how to follow the convention from afar.

Cool! I keep forgetting that you actually live there. It's neat to be able to hear about seeing the preparations. I think one of the things that makes my heart warm about GenCon is that it seems like the city really likes us gamers!
And thanks for the plug!
Oh yeah, Indy has been very welcoming of Gen Con...I've heard of several folks connected with GC Indy saying how warm a welcome Indy has given them. I hope my city continues to show the gratitude to a great convention!
I'll actually be driving up to Indy from Cincinnati on Friday, but I can't go to GEN CON! I hafta go to the childrens museum with my kids.
Man, I love the Children's Museum. Enjoy!
Can't you just go for a while? Like Saturday? Sunday's super-cheap for the whole family!!!!
Hey, you should walk through the convention center, if nothing else!
I'm gonna try...
