My Latest Purchases, Print-On-Demand

As part of my research for my new generic system, I purchased a couple of Guild of Blades Print-On-Demand titles this week. We'll see how they look when they come in--I'm always worried about the binding/print quality when I go print on demand--courtesy of mixed experiences at lulu.com, I suppose. Here's the rundown of what I purchased:

-EABA

-EABA Stuff!

-EABA The Colonies, by Brett M. Bernstein (whom we interviewed this week!)

I also downloaded the full version of EABA at RPGNow, along with Guns! Guns! Guns! and Ythrek.

I'm really liking what I'm seeing out of EABA thus far. We'll see if it keeps up!

Be sure to let us know how it goes. I'm on a system exploration kick, myself, spawned in part by the Haiti package at RPGNow. A lot of interesting stuff in there that has made me want to dig a little deeper into some of the systems.

I have a copy of Guild of Blades' EABA Rune Stryders that Greg Porter sent me (he licensed it from me). The cover was not laminated, but the binding seemed very tough. I'd prefer lamination.

@Jason: I will. One of things I like about EABA is that there is an open license to create supplements. And the lite rules are free. I want to see how it would handle the madcap world and power flux of Rifts.

@Brett: That's right, I forgot that was originally a PIG product! I wonder if the copy you got was printed at Guild of Blades or not.

Greg told me that it was from GoB.
