Pardon the dust! As you probably have noted by now, RPG Blog II is in the middle of some renovations, designed to make this site more useful, more aesthetically pleasing, and better-organized. I hope the new theme and sidebar are to your liking. All the functions of before, such as the Search function and the 25 most recently-updated blogs on my blogroll, are still present.
You may have noticed the tabbed pages at the top of the site. These are permanent pages set up for a couple of different reasons. Greatest Hits is several of the site's most-viewed articles, and will be added to periodically. The Zack Dozen is my "hot list", so to speak; these are the games and products both old and new that currently have my attention. The Zack List is a tally of gaming companies I have had positive experiences with, for various reasons. These pages are still being worked on, but should soon be up to speed.
I'm also looking at entertaining offers for a single ad, to be place on my sidebar. With over 800 readers via Feedburner and 10,000 hits likely during our Gen Con coverage, it's a good way to get some gamer eyes on your product. I'm looking at $30 total for a 3-month period (basically, coming out to $10 for every month) for an up to 200x300 ad right above the blog archive. Basically, it'll pay for gas or parking during the week of Gen Con, which would be nice. You can send inquiries to mail.rpgblog(at)gmail.com if interested.
(EDIT: Sounds like we have a prospective purchaser of that ad space!)
In any case, please look around and the me know what you think of the new design!

I really like the new look of the site and that also shows me that your plans to shut down the blog are obviously off the table! Which is a good thing! Yay!
yes, seconded Stargazer's appreciation of the new look and the fact that you are sticking around. On the new look, first it is clean and readable and second, you seem to have gotten rid of some of the bells & whistles, which while fun on a blog can also really slow the loading of the site down, especially with older machines. And your old one was a bit on the slow side, I have to say. So a big improvement. Also, I love the tabs. Great idea!
I like the new look. Seems easier to read.
Very nice look. Not that the old was bad, just that this is much nicer ;)
I like this look, too.
Thanks, guys!
A couple have mentioned the links on the side being tough to read, and I'm working on tweaking that.
And I was never going away--just cutting back and managing things better. Work smarter, not harder, and all that. :)
Love the new look, Zach! Love it! Easy to read, easy on the eyes, sweet color scheme. Great job!
Thanks! I need to add credit--Stargazer gave my border those nice rounded edges! :)
