Zack's Gen Con Liveblog, Day Minus-1, Part Two

Well, we ended up getting Jeff at the airport, and we all took the evening easy, a mixture of jet lag, waiting, and early mornings/late nights the past few days. Michael and Jeff playtested my Microlite74 scenario (they did quite well, considering its lethal nature), we had some pizza, and called it a night. It's so great having these guys here! It was so cool this morning talking to Michael about gaming over breakfast, like it was the most natural thing in the world!

There was a bad windstorm tonight, but we didn't lose power. Tomorrow, it's up before sunrise to get to the convention for breakfast and waiting for our press badges!

I'm glad it sounds like most gamers have made it in. We certainly saw dozens upon dozens coming in today at the airport! Sadly, unlike Indianapolis, Chicago O'Hare Airport was very bad for delayed flights and missed connections, perhaps even moreso than usual. Of course, the construction in downtown Indianapolis more than made up for it. It's embarrassing to see my city with so much ugly construction. Gah...just get inside the convention center, and all will be well...

We wait all year for this moment. Gen Con is upon us!

EDIT: Have you seen pics of this year's swag bag?
