I waited and waited, and it was almost too late.
I'm sure most readers of this blog are at least aware of James Maliszewski's Dwimmermount Kickstarter project, his now-famous Megadungeon that will be made available to backers of the project. But just to be sure, let's go over what you need to know:
As I write this, there will soon only be 24 hours remaining to join the over 900 backers who have now committed to get a piece of that sweet, sweet action. Just $10 will set you up with the completed pdfs when it's all finished (plus plenty of extras), and $40 will set you up with the hardback in addition to these goodies.
I confess I have a sweet spot for Megadungeons, with Castle of the Mad Archmage well up on the list as an example. With all the goodies being thrown in (original campaign notes, secret 13th level, dungeon illustrations) for hitting the various bonus levels of funding, this really does sound like an amazing deal.
So if you've waited like me, don't wait another day to jump in. Partially because this product is looking slick from what previews I've seen already, and also because I want to see what happens if there's late rush and it hits $50,000.
Have a good weekend, and I hope to see you on the Kickstarter donor list!
